Kick off the new year: Akins Ford presents Athens on Ice

ATHENS, Ga. – The holidays may be over, but you still have until January 31 to soak in the last bit of cheer with public ice skating at the outdoor 440 Foundry Pavilion. Don’t miss out on the last few weeks of this Athens’ favorite.  'Tis the season to be safe! With mobile tickets, limited capacities, and extra sanitation measures, you can relax and enjoy. Space for each session is limited, so buy your tickets ahead of time to save your spot on the rink.

There are a few key differences to look out for this year:

  1. Masks required at all times.
  2. Signed health affidavits required for entry.
  3. Mobile tickets only - limited capacities, purchase in advance.
  4. Box Office closed; mobile ticket confirmation scanned at 440 Foundry Pavilion entry.
  5. All outdoor access; the facility is closed to through traffic.
  6. Guests encouraged to enter parking deck from Foundry Street entrance. Proceed to level 2 for easy stroll down Foundry Street.

Grab your tickets now at ClassicCenter.com/AthensOnIce to get ready for the season. The rink is open now – January 31. Skate sessions are 75 minutes of fun at only $15 per ticket. Groups of ten or more are eligible for $12 tickets.
