People from Oconee County and beyond will gather to peruse the array of pottery goods showcased at OCAF’s annual Perspectives pottery show this month and into September.

The show will kick off with an opening gala at Watkinsville’s Rocket Hall on Friday, Aug. 30, from 6 to 9 p.m.

The art hall will host most of the art show’s pottery pieces.

A smaller amount of non-functional or purely artistic works will be displayed in the OCAF Center.

During the gala, a jazz ensemble will perform outside next to Rocket Hall, and a catered dinner will be offered. A $20 ticket includes both the art hall admission and the dinner.

The art hall will include ceramic products such as mugs, bowls, plates, garden pots and vases.
