Interfaith Clergy Partners of Greater Athens will bring holiday joy and community to your living room during its fifth annual community Thanksgiving service Nov. 22 at 4 p.m.

The service will be virtual this year. The Zoom meeting ID is 943 5058 3240, and the passcode is “Unity.” For more information about how to support the organization, visit

The service’s theme this year is “Gratitude for a Compassionate Community” and focuses on showing gratitude for community leaders, particularly those in the social justice, healthcare and education fields who have worked toward healing in the midst of a challenging year.

The service will include music and inspirational remarks from a variety of musicians and speakers, such as Rev. Julie Carter, Rev. Diane Bales and Rev. B.A. Hart.

As part of the service, ICPG Athens encourages viewers to support Family Connection-Community in Schools (FC-CIS), an organization that models the compassion being celebrated.

“This celebration is the culmination of our year-long activities where different faith communities worked together to bring understanding, inclusion, awareness, friendship and unity,” said Sohayl Moshtael, the ICPG Athens secretary and representative of the Baha’i Faith.
