ATHENS, Ga – The Classic Center Cultural Foundation will host its third annual golf tournament on March 22, 2021 at The Georgia Club. Last year’s socially-distanced tournament was a resounding success, with fun had by all and support raised for a worthy cause. With an 8:30 a.m. registration time and a 9:30 a.m. shotgun start, this tournament is the perfect opportunity to lace up your golf shoes and enjoy a beautiful spring morning.

The tournament supports the Cultural Foundation’s mission to provide diverse performing, visual, and culinary arts programs for our community, as well as hospitality and workforce development initiatives in and around Athens. These initiatives include a scholarship program, Hospitality Careers Academy, Bread for Life, and more!

The tournament will be played in teams of four with an entry fee of $125/player or $500/team. This fee includes the tournament, breakfast, lunch, and beverages. Sponsorship opportunities are also available and provide a great advertising outlet for your business. Space in the tournament is limited, so sign up today by contacting

The Classic Center Cultural Foundation provides resources to entertain and educate the local community and fosters economic growth by providing and supporting diverse performing, visual and culinary arts programs, as well as workforce development initiatives, while working to maintain The Classic Center in a state-of-the-art condition.
