Third Thursday is a collective effort on the part of local organizations around Athens to make art accessible to the public while highlighting and encouraging local talent.

Join us at The Classic Center from 6 – 9 p.m. on January 16 to see one of the “Play On, Athens!” pianos. As part of a public art project by the Athens Cultural Affairs Commission, pianos were hand-painted by local artists and installed in publicly accessible locations around Athens. Each one is a unique expression of Athens’ culture inspiring residents to take a moment out of their day to interact with art and music.

This event is free to the public!

Join The Classic Center Cultural Foundation to help bring local art projects like this one to life.
