The Watkinsville Trade and Tourism Association will screen “The Sandlot” this Saturday around 8 p.m. at Rocket Field.

“The Sandlot” is a 1993 comedy about children having fun in the summer of 1962. It’s rated PG for some curse words and tobacco use. The late film critic Roger Ebert described the movie as a summertime version of “A Christmas Story.” In his three-star review, he said he realized how “completely this movie had seduced me with its memories of what really matters when you are 12.”
