James Willis has been with Athens Seed through many of the company’s changes. 

Willis and his business partner, James Simmons, bought the company from T.W. Porterfield, and, over the years, Willis slowly moved up the company hierarchy and acquired more control over the business.

Now, Willis is the CEO of Athens Seed. He has worked there for 48 years, which has allowed him to experience over half of the company’s history.
