Students at North Oconee and Oconee County high schools are experiencing firsthand what it’s like to be a medical professional with a healthcare club called HOSA.

This club provides a variety of opportunities, from conferences to volunteering to leads on internship and job shadowing.

One of the big pushes of both Oconee HOSA chapters are the organization’s annual conferences at the state, national and international levels. One of the conferences is usually a leadership conference, while the other one or two are more competition based, according to OCHS HOSA advisor Kelsey Lee.
