Editor’s note: This is part two of a three-part series on newly opened or soon-to-open senior and assisted living facilities in the area. Next week, we will report on Presbyterian Village.
The Landing Senior Living of Bogart is home to heroes.
Director of Marketing Christin Smith said she enjoys hearing the stories of residents, many of whom are Korean and Vietnam War veterans.
“There’s a lot of wisdom in this generation, and we are really blessed to service them and hear their life stories,” said Smith.
The Landing is a vibrant community where residents are celebrated for their life accomplishments while they create new lasting memories.
Located at 2881 Monroe Highway in Bogart, The Landing has 48 units. There are 16 suites in its memory care wing and 32 assisted living suites. Half of those will be dedicated for transitional care, said Chief Operating Officer Jennifer Flowers.
Memory care is comprised of studio apartments and the assisted living floors have one bedrooms.
Resort-style amenities include a spa, air-jet tub, masseuse, hair/nail salon and fitness center. A resident-operated store is very popular. Proceeds from the store go back to the activities programming.
The Landing of Bogart is equipped with the latest in wireless nurse call technology that allows the care staff to closely monitor each resident. There’s space for onsite medical and therapy appointments as well.
“We partner with local, reputable third-party providers should your loved one have a medical need,” according to The Landing’s website, landingseniorliving.com.
