This year was the second time in Oconee’s history that the Board of Commissioners agreed to sell bonds in order to entice big business to the county. 

Nine years after the county landed Caterpillar, Costco announced in August that it would open a 155,146-square-foot store perpendicular to Hobby Lobby at Epps Bridge II in the summer of 2022.
