Obituary Policy

We accept obituaries from funeral homes and cremation firms only.

For obituaries to be published on Thursday, funeral providers should submit them by noon on Tuesday. Email text in a Word document and the photo as a .jpg file to announcements@oconeeenterprise.com. In the obituary please state the city where the person lived and the age at death. We encourage inclusion of the personal background of the deceased, including school or college, military service, career and church affiliation.

Obituaries are subject to a nominal charge. There is no charge for a photo. Contact The Oconee Enterprise at
