Teams that win region championships and reach the deep stages of the state playoffs typically find themselves receiving numerous postseason awards.

The 2021 North Oconee High School baseball team is no exception.

This year, the Titans went 31-6 overall with a 16-2 mark in Region 8-AAAA.

They advanced deep into the Class AAAA state tournament and reached all the way to the Final Four round.

After the season ended, several Titans earned honorary distinctions.

Bubba Chandler was named the Region 8-AAAA player of the year. Phillip Ard earned the region’s hitter of the year award.

Andrew Arnold earned a spot on the all-region first team. So did Grayson Godbee.

David Wiley and Jack Fabris, representing as outfielders, got spots on the all-region first team list, too.

Cale Stricklin made it onto the second team roster. He was joined by Gavin Black, Joe Waddell and Braeden Smith.

Justin Byrd and Ben Stuart received honorable mentions.

Stiles Begnaud received the academic player of the year award.

To go along with those region honors, North Oconee also placed a handful of players on the Georgia Dugout Preview Magazine all-state team for Class AAAA.

Chandler and Ard were named to the all-state first team roster.

Arnold, Black, Fabris and Wiley got spots on the second team all-state list.
