With the game on the line, Columbus was driving. The Blue Devils had the ball in a tie game, late in the fourth quarter.

A trip to the state championship at Mercedes-Benz Stadium hung in the balance. Then, Grace Maddox took over.

Maddox intercepted a pass, her third on the game. Six plays later, she found the end zone on offense, giving North Oconee a 13-6 lead with a little over a minute left.

The Titans would hold on, advancing to the flag football state championship in only the second season in program history.
