The high school basketball season only recently began, but the North Oconee boys squad already looks like a contender.

The Titans are 10-1 and in the midst of a four game winning streak, Their only loss so far came Dec. 8 at Seckinger in a 63-61 battle that nearly went in North Oconee’s favor.

Titans head coach Rick Rasmussen said his team’s connection and depth of talent are what made the Titans successful through their first 11 games.

“We just really care about each other and we’re a family,” Rasmussen said. “We’ve got great chemistry. We’re deep and we trust each other.”
