Crumpton sentenced to 30 years

Former University of Georgia football player Ahkil Crumpton was sentenced to serve 30 years consecutively in federal prison with three years of supervised release concurrently for interference with interstate commerce by attempted robbery and making a false statement during purchase of a firearm in connection to the March 19, 2021 murder of Elijah Wood at the Macon Highway RaceTrac.

Crumpton will still be tried by the state for murder later this year.
